| Abstract |
Background. In modern conditions, when innovation is becoming a decisive factor of economic and social development, there is a constant complication of the structure of the innovation process, as well as the transformation of the mechanisms of investment attraction to innovations. Today, Russia faces a very urgent task of technological modernization in the production sector, improvement of the competitiveness and prestige in the international economic arena. These problems are impossible to solve without an increase of investments into innovations. The aim of this work is to analyze specific forms of innovation financing.
Materialsandmethods. The research tasks were implemented on the basis of the analysis of main specific forms of financial resources attraction to the innovation sector such as venture capital funds, factoring, forfaiting, franchising.
Results. The study of specific forms of innovation financing resulted in consideration of the mechanisms of their implementation, the specificity and peculiarities of their application in the Russian conditions.
Conclusions. The study of the specific forms of innovative project financing allows to understand the reasons, goals and objectives of these processes, to compare their characteristics, to determine advantages and disadvantages of each form (venture capital funds, factoring, forfaiting, franchising). The authors emphasize the importance and necessity of development of the sphere of innovation, highlighting the importance of modernization of methods and forms of investment in this area.
